The Ski Instructor Intership

By focusing on just 1 group means 200% dedication to tailoring the most specialised, no compromise course. Giving you the perfect experience second-to-none.

It's about quality and quantity. We offer the most on-snow time with the perfect balance between technical training, personal ski development and free skiing.

We've chosen the Craigieburn Range as the base for this course, giving you access to the best off-piste and free-skiing in New Zealand. Porters is our base for the course. It has pristine groomed runs that are perfect for training drills and personal ski development. This is backed with a welcoming ski school to get the ultimate rookie experience. It is also the home of two of the longest and steepest in bounds off-piste runs in the Southern Hemisphere, great to blow out the cobwebs. In contrast, the Craigieburns are home to the club fields mecca of New Zealand. Renowned for the best in-bounds off-piste terrain in the Southern Hemisphere. This is where you can on your days off f to enjoy deserted slopes in a natural environment enriched with character and charm.

All of the off-piste skiing during the course is in-bounds to ensure your safety. The great thing about these mountains is you can find fresh tracks all day within the ski areas.

What level of skier do you need to be.......

In the past we have tried all sorts of descriptions to describe what skiing level is required for the course, but past experience tells us that the better way to determine if you are at the right level is to have a chat with us. We have had expert skiers with 100's of days skiing logged to sporty and determined skiers with only one or two weeks of experience. They have all improved their skiing beyond their expectations while having the time of their life. So no matter how much or little skiing you have done give us a call.

Go from winter to winter
Being in the Southern Hemisphere, the course runs between July and October, so if you're hoping to instruct in the Northern Hemisphere afterwards, you'll only have a couple of months to wait!
